The financial and business services industry includes, among others, banks, insurance companies, financial advisors, lease companies, legal services, accountants, advertising agencies, architects and temp agencies. In the Amsterdam region, the industry is large and disparate, with strong interconnections between the financial and business services. The industry provides 34% of the gross domestic product of the region.
