Amsterdam Innovation Motor
AIM, the Amsterdam Innovation Motor, is working to increase the capacity for innovation in the Amsterdam area. AIM invests in all stages of the innovation process, backing new ideas and supporting new ventures that stimulate entrepreneurship.
The Amsterdam area accommodates 2 million inhabitants and offers 1 million jobs. AIM is a cooperation between universities, companies and municipalities. AIM functions as a booster which puts initiatives in pace in special sectors in the Amsterdam knowledge-based economy.
The Amsterdam Innovation Motor aims at innovation, cooperation and new activities in the following sectors: Creative Industry, ICT and new media, Life Sciences, Sustainability and Trade and logistics.
